I have always loved drawing and painting , I am a retired interior designer , my training consisted of learning technical drawing and perspective drawing on a draftsmans drawing board not a computer , this evolved a lot later on in my career , i did basic foundation art including various art techniques including life drawing photography and developing my art style in various mediums , i fell in love with concept design and only started painting for pleasure when i retired and continued when we moved to the algarve . My uk paintings are now on reflection dark and gloomy and now my paintings are bright and colourful, i have embraced the sunlight of the beautiful algarve , thank you BJ for giving me your guidance and confidence to play with colour .
