Linda Wright
I moved to Portugal in 1990 with my husband and our two small children. After teaching in one of the international schools  in the Algarve for 24 years, I took early retirement.  Art lessons for beginners seemed the obvious choice for me as I have always enjoyed all kinds of drawing and painting but never had the time or opportunity to get started.  In the classes we have with BJ Banks we have explored a variety of mediums and techniques.  My favourite medium at the moment is acrylic, although I also enjoy experimenting with watercolour and pastels. I like to creatively capture an impression of a subject and often use painting knives rather than brushes.
